AI and How to Not Get Left Behind | Tom Bilyeu EP 221

In this episode, I sat down with entrepreneur Tom Bilyeu and discussed the potential disruptions AI could bring to society and business–which Tom likened to that of the printing press in terms of initial fear, destruction, acceptance, and ultimately rote utilization. Tom offered his view on the risks and opportunities of integrating artificial intelligence into our daily lives. From AI-powered gaming characters with memory to movies that update in real time based on what you’re paying attention to, to Musk’s humanoid robots walking among us–it’s going to be insane. Tom also emphasized the decision each of us will have to make as AI advances–to embrace “human-only” and stand out in that particular niche, or lean into our role as cyborgs. We touched on self-improvement, resilience, and building community in the digital age. Tom also dived into how he built a billion dollar company (Quest Nutrition), and shared strategies for thriving in a world of constant innovation: underscoring the importance of curiosity and adaptability as we move forward into this technological unknown. Samantha shared her personal experience growing up in an area heavily affected by these gangs, and described how authorities repeatedly covered up attacks on vulnerable girls. Addiction, Comedy, and Trauma with Brittany Schmitt | EP 214

In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with comedian Brittany Schmitt. We dove into her journey from working in advertising to becoming a full-time comedian, her struggles with alcoholism, her path to sobriety, and the impact sobriety has had on her creativity and social life. Brittany also opened up about life as a female comic, navigating the industry, misadventures in dating, and the challenges of sharing personal material on stage. Once characterized by chaotic lifestyles and substance-fueled performances, comedians are fostering a culture that prioritizes mental health and longevity. We also spoke about Kill Tony’s Madison Square Garden roast, Trump on Rogan, JD Vance on Theo, general sentiment of people moving away from the extreme left toward more balanced political perspectives, and the potential for unexpected common ground in the age of polarization. In this episode, I had the privilege of talking with Senator Ron Johnson. We discussed his recent Senate roundtable on American health and nutrition that he invited me to speak at recently, RFK Jr. and the likelihood of his cabinet appointment, institutional corruption, and more. We spoke at some length about the revolving door in Washington and how it effectively hands control of regulatory agencies over to pharma and big agriculture. We also explored the critical role of education and public awareness and our new age of podcast politics in waking people up to corruption in government. Senator Johnson also shared insights into how mainstream media and political institutions shape public perception–including the smear campaign currently going on against RFK Jr. We spoke about the surprising shift of the country away from the radical left toward populism and the center, and the path toward rebuilding trust in our government. Enjoy! Ron Johnson was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2010 after running a successful manufacturing business in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for thirty years. From 2015-2021, he was Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and remains a member of it. Orthodoxy, Protestantism, and Fairytales | Jonathan Pageau EP 212

Jonathan Pageau is back on my podcast! He spoke about mythology and the decline of meaningful fairy tales, and shared his reimagining of ‘Jack and the Beanstock’ – ’Jack and the Fallen Giants.’ Jonathan explored the role of Saints, scripture, and the difference between Protestant and Orthodox beliefs regarding them. Jonathan delved into the mythological significance of classic stories and why they resonate in ways today’s tales often fail to.. Reflecting on the storytelling legacy of old Disney films, he contrasted them with modern animations that feel increasingly shallow, and how the earlier films conveyed themes of good vs. evil, courage, and moral growth, in addition to grappling with complex and powerful religious symbolism. Jonathan Pageau is a Canadian icon carver, artist, and speaker known for his unique insights into symbolism, art, and traditional Christian imagery. China, Fentanyl, Pro-Palestine Protestors, BLM, and Marxism | Xaviaer DuRousseau EP 211

This week I’m joined by PragerU personality Xaviaer DuRousseau. Xaviaer is an ex-BLM activist who now uses his platform to educate viewers on politics, and cultural issues as a PragerU Personality. We spoke about why some celebrities are forced to endorse Kamala Harris, Xaviaer’s time undercover for a “Free Palestinian” encampment on UCLA’s campus, misperceptions about Israel, the insidious re-emergence of anti-semisim, the necessity for an informed and educated public, and geopolitical politics and the link between China and fentanyl. Xaviaer also discussed his short documentary, “Their Lives Mattered,” that exposes the heartbreaking reality of inner-city children caught in the crossfire of violent crime as a result of de-policing policies and district attorneys who let repeat offenders back on the street. Xaviaer also reflected on how contrasting social environments shaped his early views on race and identity. Detox Hacks, Histamine Intolerance, Genes and Toxic Substances in the Environment | Dr. Ben Lynch

Everyone should know key ways to detox because of how many chemicals we're exposed to on a daily basis - it’s more than we can handle and it’s not how we evolved... (to people thinking this is a neurotic way of looking at it - it’s not, everyone is exposed to fragrances, cleaning products, topical products that are known to be endocrine disruptors, PFAS, etc. let alone more dramatic situations like mold, heavy metals, bacterial overgrowths. It’s tricky being a healthy human in our world. We have natural ways of detoxing but sometimes we can use some help. I’ve been wanting to talk 1-on-1 with Dr. Ben Lynch for a long time now (slightly selfishly) to get his professional thoughts on my health situation which I now believe stems from toxic mold. We discussed topics like detoxification hacks, what detox looks like (it shouldn’t make you feel worse), histamine intolerance, castor oil packs, how genes play a role in bodily reactions to supplements, how to test genes, and more. Dr. Ben Lynch is the best-selling author of Dirty Genes and President of Seeking Health, a company that helps educate both the public and health professionals on how to overcome genetic dysfunction. He received his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University and his BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. He lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and three sons. Top Advertising Exec on the Tricks and Psychology of Good Marketing | Rory Sutherland

In this episode, I spoke with Rory Sutherland, Vice Chairman of Ogilvy, the massively successful advertising company behind brands like American Express, Sears, Ford, IBM and more. We spoke about what makes people spend money on luxury goods, the personality traits that make a great marketer, whether people can learn marketing, how many projects people can work on at once, the concept of costly signaling and much more. Rory is the Vice Chairman of Ogilvy UK, and has co-founded a behavioral science practice within the agency. He works with a consulting practice of psychology graduates who look for ‘unseen opportunities’ in consumer behavior - these are the often small contextual changes which can have enormous effects on the decisions people make - for instance tripling the sales rate of a call center by adding just a few sentences to the script. He is the host on the podcast OnBrand with ALF and he has joined forces with MAD//Masters to lead a 12 week CPD accredited personal development program to help marketers adapt, make sense of accelerated disruption and use the tried and tested recipe of using creativity, innovation and behavioral science to their competitive advantage. Israel/Palestine: The History and What’s Real? Opposing Views with Norman Finkelstein and David Brog

Hey guys, this is a sensitive topic and I tried to find two knowledgeable people to speak with to just hear both sides of the “history”. It seems like the world is split on this issue in a very extreme way and I always think speaking to people on “both sides” can be beneficial. In this episode of Opposing Views, I was joined by David Brog, and Norman G. Finkelstein, both have spent much of their lives researching the history of Israel and Palestine and living in the area. This wasn’t an easy episode to make and I’m sure I missed things and could have done a better job asking questions but I did my best and there was only so much we could fit into the 2 hours. I hope it helps provide some information so you can form your own opinions. Avoiding one side of a massive argument isn’t a good idea, ever. David Brog is the president of the Edmund Burke Foundation, which hosts the annual National Conservatism conference. He’s also the Nevada Co-Chair of Term Limits USA. In 2022, he placed 2nd out of 8 candidates in the Republican primary for Nevada’s 1st congressional district. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. David Brog is the author of Reclaiming Israel’s History: Roots, Rights and the Struggle for Peace (2017) - Norman G. Finkelstein received his PhD from the Princeton University Politics Department in 1987. He is the author of many books that have been translated into 60 foreign editions, including THE HOLOCAUST INDUSTRY: Reflections on the exploitation of Jewish suffering, GAZA: An inquest into its martyrdom, and most recently, I ACCUSE! Herewith a proof beyond reasonable doubt that ICC Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda whitewashed Israel. In the year 2020, Norman Finkelstein was named the fifth most influential political scientist in the world. Finkelstein is the author of Gaza: An Inquest into Its Martyrdom (2021) -

I asked some common carnivore questions and a bunch of my own questions about long-term healing, potential problems with a carnivore diet, and what exactly is “CIRS”. Right after this episode we found a bad mold problem in our master bedroom. I had a feeling, which is why I had Judy on. We've lived there for 4 months. I also think that's what made me sick in Nashville. I don't know if mold caused my original arthritis as a child but it's definitely causing autoimmune symptoms now. We moved out.
