Well Of Horrors - Ep 1 - Haunted Flat In Mumbai

I am Shreya Chatterjee and I welcome you all to my brand new show, Well Of Horrors, where I present to you incidents of Real Horror and Real Hauntings from around the world including my own experiences in Hindi. The first incident is a real and personal endurance shared over the phone by Munmun who happens to be the sister of a close friend of mine, Tulika (Mini). Munmun and Tulika moved into a new flat in Mumbai and the Flat number is 1502. The apartment name shall not be revealed to maintain confidentiality. After Tulika moved to Goa for career progression, Munmun is joined by a paying guest, Sonia (name changed to respect her right for privacy). From here on situations in the flat started to turn sour. This flat in the financial capital, Mumbai turns out to be a haunted flat. One that is haunted by not 1 but 3 spirits, a family of three. What happened with Munmun after she approached a Pir baba? Puri Jagannath Dham is not just known for its historic temple, but also for its serene and picturesque surroundings, making it a popular holiday destination. However, among the many beautiful holiday homes in Puri, this dark and twisted horror story is about the one which turned out to be haunted for the couple Joydeepto and Sreetama who were on a vacation in Puri. It was year 2021. A young couple, Joydeepto and Sreetama, along with their 1-and-a-half-year-old daughter, booked a holiday home in Puri with the intention of spending their vacations there. They were also accompanied by their neighbors' friends. However, strange and frightening events soon began to occur. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to find a rational explanation for the strange events. Dow Hill and its Death Road in Kurseong are one such place that needs no introduction. From haunted schools and roads to mysterious forests, headless corpses, and mysterious deaths, you name a paranormal scenario, and Dow Hill has got it! Bibas Tamang, a Dow Hill resident, and our cab driver took us around Dow Hill and other haunted locations in Kurseong, including the cremation ground for those who died unnatural deaths, the oldest boys school, and the less travelled Old Military Road, to name a few. Stories of the elderly woman in a white sari who diverts passing cars down the incorrect path by distracting them also came up, but what excited me was a personal horror experience of one of Bibas’s cousins on the haunted Death Road, a stretch between the Forest Office and the creepy Pine Forest. We present you with a true horror incident straight from Kota, Rajasthan. Sameer, who hails from Gujarat, was visiting his brother in Kota, Rajasthan, during Dussehra of 2018. His nephew was only 8 years old then. It all began when Sameer, along with his brother and his family, visited the famous Dusshera mela in Kota. His nephew, who was attracted to a soft toy, a doll, became increasingly aggressive and insisted that he wanted that doll. The doll was bought and brought home. One question that has always crossed our minds at some point in our lives is, “What happens after one’s death?”. Whether there is life after death is one of the most intriguing and enduring mysteries of human existence. Many religions and belief systems offer their own ideas and explanations about what happens after we die, but the truth is that no one can say with certainty. The nature of consciousness and the workings of the human mind remain a mystery. My great-grandmother was declared clinically dead by a doctor, but she regained consciousness after 5 hours and told the story of how she travelled to her hometown in Khulna District of Bangladesh and came back to India in those 5 hours. This story was shared with Well Of Horrors by my mother, although I have listened to it from her since childhood. I travelled to a few remote villages in North Bengal's Kalimpong District. And during this journey, I met and spoke with many local people and was fortunate enough to hear some of their real-life horror experiences. My driver, Bokul (Hasimul Islam), narrated a horror incident that he was part of and wanted us to share this incident with the Well of Horrors family. Bokul is from Batabari, and he has been driving tourists around Dooars and other areas in North Bengal for many years. Certain places can become havens of evil and negativity due to past atrocities or tragic events that have occurred there. The negative energy or residual trauma from heinous acts, such as murders, massacres, or other violent events, lingers in the place where they occurred. This lingering energy is believed to attract more negativity, leading to unfortunate events in that specific location that affect visitors and residents alike. A close friend of mine, Biswajit Parua, who is an editor in the film industry, has shared one such incident with Well Of Horrors. This incident, or a series of incidents, occurred on a movie set while his colleagues were at a shoot location in Ranchi. It was an old Zamindari bungalow in a remote village. 1.
