MDR AKTUELL Moderator Tim Deisinger wird diese und andere drängende Fragen zum Ukraine-Krieg in diesem Podcast mit dem ehemaligen NATO-General Erhard Bühler in einer "Lagebesprechung" diskutieren. Im Mittelpunkt jeder Episode: eine profunde Bewertung des Kriegsgeschehens, die politische Gemengelage in Moskau, Washington und Berlin und auch die Folgen für die sicherheitspolitische Weltlage. Der Militär-Experte Erhard Bühler ist Generalleutnant des Heeres a.D. und hat seit 1976 in unterschiedlichsten Funktionen der Bundeswehr gedient. So übernahm er im Jahr 2010 die Führung des KFOR-Einsatzes in Pristina (Kosovo). 2019 wurde er Befehlshaber des Allied Joint Force Command im niederländischen Brunssum, eines der beiden militärischen Oberkommandos der NATO in Europa. Von hier wurde u.a. der NATO-Einsatz in Afghanistan gesteuert.
